 
Stewart began his professional performing career as a member of much loved a capella group Cantabile. touring the world, giving over 1,000 concerts, 150 TV performances and recording 5 commercial albums. Regularly dubbed 'Mr Festival' and winner of the 2012 BAFA Award for ‘Outstanding Contribution to British Arts Festivals' his career in entertainment spans more than two decades. He has presented programmes for BBC radio 2,3 4 and the World Service and writes extensively for music magazines while never straying far from his performer roots. He presents his largely self penned cabaret sings in his one/two man show ‘Bach to the Future’ which has attracted capacity crowds at festivals and special occasions across the UK. Songs include Line-Dance-Along-a-Vivaldi, Kill an Estate Agent Today, Spooner and Sullivan, I’m my own Grandpa and many others of equally dubious provenance. Bach to the Future also features stunning pianist and cabaret artist Harry The Piano.
